INITIATIVES
PARTNERSHIPS
We are currently working on building partnerships with local businesses and other non-profits in the area. Ideally we would like to have a lot of the support come from within the community. As a 501(c)3 Non-Profit, we are looking for ways to get these items for free or reduced costs. Local businesses and individuals that charitably contribute will be helping the community get stronger and safer. We are very grateful for all the support that we receive and will do our best in repaying that forward in a positive brand image and using the resources wisely.
IN THE MOMENT
In the Moment is all about proactively helping someone in need that you come across in your normal daily routine; ie, going to work, grocery shopping, school event, church, etc. There are lots of families that do not know where to reach out, feel guilty of taking hand outs, or maybe not sure if they meet a certain criteria. This is about showing that we care and that no family should be deprived of basic needs.
10% of all monetary donations are utilized for our "In The Moment" outreach mission.
SUPPORT A FAMILY
We work directly with families to provide basic clothing necessity items through an application process. We will select families throughout each month and they will work one on one with a volunteer from My Daily Walk. The number of families selected will be dependent on resources available.
